BLAST! Pwned by t3h gmail again. This intarweb thing is too complicated. Google needs to make gmail more hackable. Steven ______________________________________________________________________________ RS Information Systems is a federal systems integrator and is looking to fill a Principal Consultant position for a contract at the Aviation Weather Center (AWC) in Kansas City. It's a full-time position with benefits (insurance, vacation, 401K with matching, spot bonuses, education assistance, etc.). The job requires significant software development skills within a Linux environment, and will require coordination with many outside interests. Myth TV Box Questions.

My current setup. I have a small Media Center box that I use as a DVR for my main LCD television. This machine is an Intel chipset based Foxconn board with a 2.8Ghz Pentium CPU. It has 1 x 160GB HDD and a DVD-ROM drive. 512MB RAM. NVidia 7900 AGP 8x video card. The tuner is an ATI HDTV Wonder. I am currently running Windows XP Media Center Edition on the machine. As such, I am running the "Kram" driver on the machine which allows Windows MCE to use the analog tuner AND the HD tuner without switching or rebooting. It works really well. So here's my question(s). I am interested in converting to a Linux based DVR like MythTV. My concern is getting the same multi-tuner use out of the ATI HDTV Wonder that I get using the "Kram" Windows driver. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices DD-WRT will work on v5+ WRT54Gs, just not as well. The v5 versions began the switch away from using Linux by default to using VxWorks on half the ram or half the flash or both, can't remember which at the moment, but it can still be flashed with a minimal build of Linux. However, there are cheap devices on the market today that have considerably better specs that'll work just fine. For instance, Best Buy, CompUSA (assuming they haven't been completely looted yet), and MicroCenter all had the Buffalo WHR-G54S in stock back in Feb. -Sean

Does anyone have any experiance with this? I found an older Anandtech article about loading sveasoft (or a varient thereof) onto the linksys router. I thought that i had heard that that was no longer possible with the newer linksys stuff? Anyone know?
